F.R.C. Cavalcante
F.R.C. Cavalcante is a Franco-Brazilian author whose writing blends the ordinary with the imaginary through works of fantasy, science fiction and philosophical reflection.
From an early age, imagination became for him not only a way of escaping the limits of everyday life, but also a means of questioning the world around him. Fascinated by the mysteries of creation, the enigmas of time and the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe, he gradually developed an inner world shaped as much by dreams as by reflection.
At the age of 18, in September 1998, he left Brazil for France knowing only a few words of French. He quickly learnt the language, continued his studies, discovered new cultures and also spent time in London.
His journey led him to explore literature, philosophy and ancient mythologies in depth, influences that would leave a lasting mark on his understanding of existence, knowledge and human consciousness.
Through his works, F.R.C. Cavalcante imagines worlds in which the mysteries of the universe might find answers at the crossroads of science, imagination and ancient wisdom. His novels invite readers to journey beyond the visible, explore the origins of the Whole and question humanity's place within the vastness of the cosmos.
Now based in France, while maintaining close ties to his Brazilian roots, F.R.C. Cavalcante is the author of The World of Gabbardons — The Origins of the Whole, a story blending epic fantasy, science fiction and reflection — a cosmogony exploring the origins of the Whole.
